Chris Thayer is a Group Health family physician. He graduated from UCLA medical school in 1997 then pursued other career interests in computer science. For the next seven years he worked for Microsoft as a software engineer and most recently with the Visual Studio and ASP.NET teams. Dr. Thayer was also a web developer for the team that created drugstore.com. In 2004, Dr. Thayer returned to practicing medicine and finished his residency at Group Health Cooperative where he continues to practice today while developing a career that encompasses medicine and information technology.
